About Us
Kolir Comprehensive Secondary School is a government-aided, mixed Day and Boarding O’ and A’ Level secondary school located in Kolir Sub-county, Bukedea District.
Our History
Kolir Comprehensive Secondary School was established in 1999 as a community-driven initiative aimed at expanding access to secondary education.
The school began under the leadership of its founding Headteacher, Mr. Alum Joseph, supported by a dedicated team of 8 teaching staff and 2 non-teaching staff.
At its opening, the school had an enrolment of just 40 learners, consisting of 10 girls and 30 boys.
From these humble beginnings, Kolir Comprehensive Secondary School has grown steadily into a vibrant educational institution serving hundreds of learners.
Today, the school has an enrolment of 871 students and operates as a government-aided, mixed Day and Boarding secondary school providing both O’ and A’ Level education.
